It seems like this athleisure look style is going nowhere no time soon. However, there’s a way to adapt to it to make it chic. Brands from Lululemon and Forever 21 are creating leggings to look like an item you can pair them with boots, heels or flats.
I purchased these Zella Leggings (more here and here) from Nordstrom and while ago. Yes they are comfortable and yes they are high waisted, and yes I wore these at least 2 days this week lol. I tried this Athleisure look out with my sweater dress from ASOS (similar here and here) and some casual tennis shoes. Those of you who know me knows that I love seeing people dress up. I must say I had the best time in Paris just people watching.
I actually had fun dressing the Athleisure look up and down. Yes, it was something I couldn’t get with at first, but I believe I am a fan of it.
